This Privacy Policy explains how Piaoxia handles information when you use the Piaoxia mobile app and related services.

Piaoxia is designed as a local-first receipt management app. In the current TestFlight version, receipt files, OCR text, and edited receipt details are stored on your device by default and are not automatically uploaded for cloud sync.

Information We Process

Piaoxia may process the following information:

• Receipt images, PDFs, screenshots, OCR text, merchant names, amounts, dates, categories, projects, notes, and other receipt details you add in the app.
• Account information such as your email address if you sign in with email verification.
• Apple or Google sign-in identifiers if you choose to sign in with those providers.
• App installation identifiers generated by the app for quota, abuse prevention, and future account benefit purposes.
• Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as request time, API endpoint, IP address, device type, app version, and diagnostic logs.

Local-First Storage

Receipt content is stored on your device by default. Signing in does not automatically enable cloud sync or upload your receipts.

If Piaoxia adds optional cloud sync, backup, or multi-device access in a future version, those features will be clearly described in the app and this Privacy Policy will be updated before launch.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide receipt features, support sign-in and quota tracking, maintain security, troubleshoot service issues, and improve app quality.

Third-Party Services

Piaoxia may use third-party services such as Apple Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, email delivery providers, cloud hosting/DNS providers, and Apple App Store/StoreKit for future subscription features. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

Receipts and Sensitive Content

Receipts may contain personal or financial information. You should review receipts before sharing exports. Piaoxia does not intentionally sell receipt content or use receipt content for advertising.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed to operate the app and related services, comply with legal obligations, or protect the security, rights, and integrity of Piaoxia, users, or others.

Data Retention

Local receipt data remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or remove the app and its local data. Server-side account and diagnostic data may be retained as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

Your Choices

You can delete receipts in the app, export your receipt data, sign out of your account, and contact support to request account-related assistance.

Children

Piaoxia is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law.

International Users

Piaoxia may be used by users in different countries or regions. Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide appropriate notice in the app or on our website.
